Technology brings back pain 18th October
Why do we suggest you stretch daily? Well, lets be honest it is because we slough! We have bad posture, from looking at phones with our heads bowed forward, to our computer screen and mouse being in the wrong position. Some of us are virtually horizontal while sitting or watching TV.
These are all habits, and as we know ‘old habits die hard’. This can affect our digestion, heart rate, clarity of thinking, and even lead to back issues. But it is act of breaking a habit that sets our bodies free!
Here are some suggestions to help:
- Try the Sun Salutation sequence above, 2 rounds on each side.
- When you sit at your desk, press your pelvis against back into the seat and stack each vertebra on the spine to sit up straight. DON’T forget the head! Now breath into the stomach cavity. Deep inhale and exhale 5 times..
